Define your Website Goals
What do you want your website to achieve? Are you using it to sell products or services, showcase your portfolio, provide information to visitors, or build an email list?
Take some time to identify your website’s goals this will help you and your designer create a website that will help you reach those goals.
Create a Site Map
A sitemap is a diagram of the pages on your website and how they are connected.
Take some time to sit down and think about what pages you’ll need for your website and how they are connected. This will help you understand your website structure and make it easier to create the content for those pages. For each page write down the name of the page and its goal.
Look for inspiration
Now that you have your branding clarified it’s time to look for inspiration. What are some websites that you love? Pinterest is a great place to look for inspiration for your website.
