How I found coaching that felt right for my Business & Live

Over the years of running my business, I have seen and worked with several different types of coaches, including business, money, and mindset coaches all types. And although I’ve learnt a lot from all of them it never really felt like a good fit.

Most of the coaching landscape out there seems to be focused on two things:

• You can make 6 figure months! It’s all about mindset!
• If you think you don’t have money to invest in your business then you need to adjust your mindset!

There never seems to be a thought spared as to whether you need 6-figures months in your life or whether it’s a smart financial decision to spend money you don’t have on your business. This has always left me wondering if these coaches are the right fit for me.

In the middle of all this wondering, I stumbled across an article from WAIM on Why you should focus on enough instead of more (it’s a great article you should read it!) reading through it reminded me of why I started my business and that my goals in life and business didn’t have to be the same as everyone else’s.

I devoured that article and sat down to define what I wanted my business and life to look like and how I could make that happen. And when the doors opened to WAIM that year I jumped at the opportunity to join!

What I found on the other side was a community of people focused on building businesses that felt right for them! And two coaches, Jason & Caroline, are ready to share all about their business lessons and how they’re building their business to fit THEIR goals. There has never been pressure to build a business like them only encouragement as I and other WAIMers (that’s what we call ourselves) figure out how we want our businesses to be.

I’ve learned a lot over the years from Jason & Caroline and the community at large and I feel like there’s always more to learn. And so I stay active in the community and continue devouring both the new coaching sessions and the learnings from other members. I know as my business grows and my needs and goals change and evolve this community will always be here to help me through the process!
